our story

T by the Sea is a hidden gem along the waterfront—a place where time slows, conversations flow, and the worries of the day drift away with the tide. More than just a café, it has become a cherished part of the community, where people have come together to share stories and laughter ever since we opened. With every cup poured and every meal served, we’ve built a space that feels like home—a place to pause, connect, and enjoy the simple pleasures of good food, great company, and a beautiful view.

The name T by the Sea holds special meaning—not only is it a nod to the tea we serve, but also a tribute to our home at Unit 44T Victoria Quay. As a proudly independent, locally owned café, we love being part of the Gosport community, welcoming locals and visitors alike with open arms. T by the Sea was created with a simple yet meaningful vision—to o er a welcoming retreat where people can slow down whilst refueling with hot food and carefully crafted drinks along the waterfront.
